The Chairman of “The Select Committee On Energy Independence and Global Warming” Representative Edward J. Markey has requested that a live video feed of the BP Oil Spill from the ocean floor be made available to the public.

This camera is 5000 feet below the surface.

You can see the live BP Oil Spill Video here. Tragically 11 people lost their lives and estimates are that 5,000 barrels or more of oil a day are now leaking into the oceans.

The worst is yet to come as the spill will impact many industries including tourism, fishing and the home of a diverse and rich set of marine wildlife.
