Gasoline and petrol prices are increasing with no end in sight to the price hikes. Is there a cheaper fuel alternative? If you are about to purchase a new car or truck it might be worth considering a vehicle that runs on an alternative fuel source.

More  people are now considering biodiesel vehicles. Biodiesel is one of the most environmentally friendly and cost effective sources of fuel around. It is made from used vegetable oil, a major waste product.

In some countries  local government vehicles such as buses and rubbish trucks now run on biodiesel fuel. You may have already noticed them, with their characteristic “Biodiesel” stickers. Are biodiesel vehicles now available to regular motorists? Yes, a number of manufacturers now produce vehicles that run only on biodiesel fuel. Ask at you local dealership as a number of dealerships now stock them.

Another alternative is a boidiesel conversion kit. Unfortunately they are usually for diesel vehicles only and can be very expensive.  But with these kits installed you can quickly begin saving thousands of dollars on fuel each year. Again check with you local dealership. There may be a conversion kit for your particlular vehicle.

With increasing fuel costs you should consider the biodiesel alternative. You should be able to achieve considerable fuel savings in a matter of weeks.
