There are just as many skeptics on global warming as their are believers. Do they actually have any common ground? Chemical & Engineering News (C&EN) published an analysis of the climate debate. C&EN is a publication of the 154,000-member American Chemical Society. Lord Christopher Monckton spoke about Climate Change on October 14th 2009 at a climate skeptic event sponsored by the Minnesota Free Market Institute. Lord Christopher makes the valid point that we can not just mess up the environment as much as we want i.e. create pollution and destroy it. We are stewards and cannot be irresponsible. All the more reason, he argues that since, in his opinion, “Global Warming is a non-problem” then we should not be wasting resources and money trying to tackle it. Link to this post!

John Coleman of the Weather Channel  argued in a recent post on the Weather Channel that global warming is a hoax, According to John Coleman the original two research papers are flawed. These papers produced by Roger Revelle (Director of the Scripps Oceanographic Institute in La Jolla in San Diego, California at the time)  in 1957 and 1960 were the first to identify the concept of global warming and that the burning of fossil fuels was a probable cause.  Coleman argues that Revelle produced the papers as a guise just to obtain and continue funding and cites  little evidence that…
