Why are food prices still high given the decline in ethanol related commodities such as corn ?  The question was asked by Robert Dineeen who is president of the Renewable Fuels Association. People can no longer justify their position that demand for corn for ethanol production is driving food prices. Why, because corn prices and fuel prices have now actually fallen. The only thing that has not fallen is food prices. The real truth behind the prices increases in the past appears to have been speculation and the increases in energy prices. Link to this post!
